Q: How do I join SUGARWOOD HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION?
A: Residents may join SUGARWOOD HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION by visiting the MEMBERSHIP FORM page of the web site.
For those who do not have computer access, please phone 876-0104 or by mail at 197 Lansdown Drive to request a membership package. After filling out the membership form, please return it along with your payment to:

Membership dues are needed and shall be used for required landscaping and maintenance of the subdivision entrance as well as any legal fees which may be incurred as SHA enforces compliance to the restrictive covenants of record.
Q: How much are membership dues?
A: Membership dues are based on $5.00 per month per residence.
$30 - 6 month membership
$60 - 12 month membership
In order to help maintain membership bookkeeping, we ask that all dues be paid through June 30th or December 31st annually. You may pay in 6 month or 12 month increments.
Q: Why should I join SUGARWOOD HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION?
A: By becoming a member of SHA, you become a part of a growing group of concerned residents who are dedicated to:
- Preserving and maintaining our property values
- Maintaining the aesthetics of the place we chose to call HOME to raise our families
- Promoting neighborhood "fellowship" in getting to know your neighbors by way of family social gatherings and membership meetings
- Helping to enforce violations to the Restrictive Covenants of record as previously set forth
Residents and SHA Members are urged to help get involved on the different committees and lend a helping hand in any way each of us can. There is "power in numbers" and together we can make great things happen.
Q: What do my membership dues get used for?
A: All membership dues collected help to pay for:
- Landscaping and regular maintenance to the front entrance to Sugarwood Subdivision
- Costs incurred for SHA newsletters and meeting notices
- Hosting of this web site and message forums
- Any legal fees which may be incurred in SHA's enforcement to any violations of the restrictive covenants of record
- All monies received are put back into the SHA and our neighborhood
PLEASE NOTE: SHA IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION. BOARD MEMBERS DO NOT DRAW A SALARY OR PAYMENTS OF ANY KIND FOR POSITIONS HELD.
