why is it so hard to get the some residents to follow the restrictions .you have mailboxes that are not in code. and cars on the street and in the yards.i moved in sugarwood because how nice it WAS and the association .but what good is a association if they won't enforce the restrictions. i hope we can work to get sugarwood back and nopt let it go.

Hello Ronald,

Thank you for being a concerned resident that wants to see Sugarwood at its best. The association has and is currently working on sending out letters to residents who are violating the covenants. We too want to see Sugarwood looking great.

Please let us know if you see anything else in violation of the covenants. We need and appreciate your help with reporting violations.

Although we have not yet begun building, we have 2 lots at the end of Sugarwood Blvd on the lake that we maintain. We pay someone to cut the grass, and have been active in deterring people from driving/launching from our property. So, why is it that:

-- although we don't have a house, there is a bucket of shingles on our property? Now, we have to deal with the ants beneath this mess
-- although we don't have a house, we have someone's trash on our property?! Doesn't everyone have garbage cans around here?
-- although we don't have a driveway, someone dumped the forming boards for a driveway on our property?! This didn't magically blow there with the wind
-- although we don't have a house, there is a tetherball box on our property? We didn't buy a tetherball kit and put it up on the property. If you purchased one, COME AND GET YOUR TRASH!!!
-- although we're not doing repairs there (as we don't have a house there, yet), why is there a package from a tool set on our land?

It's obvious to me that people have gotten lazy and complacent. If your contractor is doing this, I expect you to rectify this with him. If you are doing this, I would expect that you would have enough pride in your neighborhood not to litter someone's property. I don't think that it being windy lately is an excuse. If and when I build, should I put my trash in someone else's yard? Should I dump it in the lake? I wonder about building in this neighborhood.
